I�m considering staying in the Westlake area of Seattle and one consideration is how easy it is to get from there to other neighborhoods E.g. I like to be able to walk and run in the Queen Anne Neighborhood. From the map it looks like I have to cross Aurora Avenue to get from West Lake to Queen Anne. It looks like a very busy street. Is there any safe pedestrian crossings over Aurora Avenue? Thanks for helping out.

Listening to the upcoming Gop canditates and main streat media, I notice that there are not a lot of positive or even encouraging words coming out of interviews, debates. We also found out she had eczema and that was making her fussy because it itched and burned and we had to buy certain bath wash and lotion(aveeno and aquaphor). Is her all red? Could it be a diaper rash? Also my daughter liked to be walked a lot. It seemed to calm her down more. It wears you down i know but it worked and put her to sleep sometimes. Hopefully you will find something that works. ANd when you do I was told to stick with it. If you switch things a lot it could be confusing for them.. Hope I helped. Also babies do go through a growth spurt at around 3 wks so if its a recent development she may be going through it early. they also go through one at around 6 wks, 3 months and 6 months. Actually the cheaper brands can and often do have weed seeds in them since they are not always screened out when the "soil" is being mixed or packaged for sale. One reason I mix my own soil less mix here for our nursery use. Plus on our scale its cheaper for us and we get the exact mix we need for each type of plant or use! Oh and never buy "top soil" as its actually clay and almost always has weed seeds and other harmful things in it to start with. Good luck.

I often sketch movie stars for the fun of it. I use photos I see on the internet. I use watercolor or charcoal and of course it is by no means an exact copy. I do it for my own pleasure, but now I am encouraged to show my work at a gallery. Is doing a recognizable likeness of Angelina Jolie, Hally Berry, or Noomi Rapace and the like an infringement on their rights or the original photographers copyright? Question about my horse wearing a "tail guard/wrap outside in turnout/ maintaing a long tail and advice!!!

This is what I used 30 years ago because I couldn't afford anything else, it worked so well that I have continued to use it, and nothing else. I use two pairs of pantyhose (support hose is the best) and lay one leg of the hose over your shoulder to use later, leaving 3 nice, nylon sacks to separate the tail into..wet the tail and separate it into 3 equal parts, fold them up and drop them in the top , and when you have done this with all three parts,.then just braid the tail while it is in the pantyhose...you can stop the braid anywhere, leaving enough for the flies and with the piece that is lying on your shoulder, run it through the top of the tail where your braid started, back under and through and over again and tie it off, you can make it as tight as you want, you are below the tail bone and you still have the 3 pieces full of hair hanging that you haven't braided..take the bottom or the toe end of each of the pantyhose that have the hair inside and shake it until the hair falls to the bottom, .they can wear this all of the time, as the hair isn't being damaged, it's light and doesn't bother them, isn't tight anywhere that it matters and it's inexpensive. The pantyhose is slick, so it slides easier over anything that might catch it, like the fence, branches, etc, but it is capable of ripping out right where it is caught too, so your horse doesn't get caught up in something and panics... You can actually rinse the tail out with the water hose without undoing the pantyhose. Also, as far as the hair that is on the tailbone, I just water it with the hose every day, sometimes twice a day, just like watering flowers...and while I'm at it, I go ahead and rinse out the rest of the tail that is in the pantyhose...it all dries quickly, but it get the dirt out without adding any products that attract the dirt...that is the culprit, just like in your carpet, it wears out the tail hair. I like those tail protectors in the photo, and they work well with just what they are listed for...yes, you can use them for everyday use, although they get a little warm under them...you don't want to apply them too tightly, just after you have it arranged around the tail, as high up as you can get it, take a strand of hair and put it right in the velcro strip, then close it up in it...that will keep from slipping down...I like to use a bit of hair from two different places so that any weight that might be on that hair, is equally distributed from two places on the tail...that I take off every night in the stall, as it needs air to it and those strands of hair release for a while...get different strands each time that you do this.

My husband is at Ft. Jackson, SC for basic training. He hurt his foot and was on profile for a couple weeks. He hadn't started BCT yet because he couldn't p the PT test with an injured foot. Now they are telling him that he will be sent home on a general separation discharge if he can't p the PT test next Monday. If he doesn't p, how long will it take from the time he's told he's being sent home until the time they physically take him off base and he gets on a plane to come home? Does being undecided mean i won't make it in the Marines?

I've been wanting to join the Army since 7th grade (I'm in 10th grade now) but I've been looking at a lot of stuff from the Marines and seeing how Marines "speak" online and such. In other words, I'm really undecided. I haven't looked into the Marines nearly as much as the Army but It's enough to make me question where i belong. I don't know too much about their MOS policy (though i heard it's not guaranteed), payment plans, hell i don't even know much about their training and that's one of the reasons i want to join! If you'd like to know my main 2 reasons (although the first may seem like stupid teenage "omg i wanna be cool" stuff: Pride. Every Marine or anything to do with the Corps is filled with this pride and even lingo that carries so much weight. On this website, somebody posted an excerpt from a book called "Who were you with" (i believe) in which a Marine was walking with his wife and saw various Marines whom would've remained undetectable to anyone else were it not for their Headwear. There's more to the pride thing but i digress. The training: I've looked into it SOMEWHAT and of course I''ve heard that Marine BCT is harder then any other branch. One of my reasons for wanting to join the Army was to ACCOMPLISH something to be proud of and i figured i want to be the best i can be. There's more to that too but now that you have my incredibly long backstory here's the main question: I know I'm only 15, but does me being confused right now mean that I'm not meant to be a Marine?

Anybody ever done something incredibly stupid as this?

I'm on an exchange in Germany. Today is when Spring Break begins. I was booked to fly to Italy with some friends, but there was some confusion with Ryanair (potentially ubercheap Irish airline) and I missed my flight because I hadn't carefully checked my eticket which is in 24 hr time. I'm from NA so I didn't notice that my flight left in the morning rather than the afternoon. After piecing together ways of meeting up with my friends, it all became too difficult and too expensive. I won't see them for a week and they must think I'm an idiot, which I kinda deserve. I was so excited I didn't think to check if everything was in order. I've wasted over 300 euros on this mistake. Hi, I've got a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop running on Windows XP. Recently, when I tried to turn on my computer, everything seemed to run normally until I got to my desktop screen. I could see my familiar Avenged Sevenfold wallpaper, but my icons weren't coming up. I figured it was just going a little slow, so I waited. A window appeared and said there was an error with the scvhost.exe and prompted me to press OK to continue what I was doing or Cancel to 'debug'. I pressed Cancel and a blue screen came up (I couldn't read it, because just as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared) and then my system restarted itself. I ran a diagnostic and the S.M.A.R.T long self-test failed and said that the IDE Device had failed. I don't really know what that means... I attempted to go through Dell Support, but I was placed on hold for nearly an hour and my problem was not tended to, as they seemed more interested in having me buy software and accessories than listening to the issue and helping me fix the problem (not to mention, the one gentleman I spoke to was quite rude). So, if anyone has any suggestions as to how I might repair this myself, please enlighten me. Your istance is appreciated. Thank you.

My parents have just bought new carpet and are going to install it in a couple days. Problem is, it feels absolutely disgusting under your feet. The color is nice, it is greenish brown and fits the room. It is a frieze carpet I think, so if you dropped an earring in it or something you would never see it again and it would get lost in between the parts of the carpet that stick up. My mom hates the feel too but her and my dad spent $450 and bought it off craigslist, so they can't return it. I suggested reselling it on craigslist, but my dad it too attached to the look and does not want to. At this point, I will be wearing shoes 24/7 in my house. I am really angry about this. I am an American living in France. I have a daughter who will be five in October. Her father and I have been trying to teach her to count since she was 3. But she cannot get past No. 5. She can remember up to 10 temporarily and only if she counts quickly and if we have just reminded her how to do it. If she counts slowly she can't get past 5. I'm sixteen and never had much of a problem with sweating until recently, so I decided to take control of that and get a chemist brand treatment. It's called Driclor and the active ingredient is aluminium chloride. You put it on at night time and wash it off in the morning and it is supposed to block the sweat glands and prevent sweating completely. You're supposed to use i every night until you can cut that down to once or twice a week, because your skin will have obsorbed enough to last I guess. But it said on the leaflet that some people may experience stinging and irritation, which I deffinately have. I had to sleep with ice packs under my arms last night because of the pain. So i think I'll wait a couple of days for that to clear up, but I was wondering how long it will take for Driclor to really do it's work and stop my sweating. My boyfriend just got arrested last night for public urination and he was just at the bars too so I think most of the charges were from the public intoxication. How long should babies have poopy diapers w/ most feedings?

My son is 7 weeks old and up until a few days ago had a poopy diaper about a half hour or so after every feeding. Now he's down to maybe 2 or 3 a day. Feel like im losing who i am?

Right now i am 18 years old and im very confused about what is going on with me. 2 years ago i started smoking pot like 2 times a week for the summer. i went on a family trip and wasn't able to smoke. then i got back and smoked a bowl of some high level stuff and got completely freaked out. it was the worst high ever. i had my first day of school the next day and felt like i wasn't myself. i couldn't have good conversations with people and my confidence was way down. i became very anti social for most of the school year, and i was off the pot for good, nothing changed though. then i regained my confidence by doing speeches in speech, which i could not do in front of an audience, i only did them in front of my teacher and principal. i also started to work out, and then right before the summer started i felt like a whole new person and i was on top of the world. i tried chugging some dayquil in the middle of the next summer, but i was able to get over that, and i never did it again. then my senior year started and things went down slowly again, its like school put a course on me. it got even worse, i started to get effected by thoughts of "Where does life come from?" Is there anyway to quickly get rid of mouth ulcers/canker sores?

I have been getting them since i was 10 and im now 14, its just a side effect of anemia, which i have. Anyway i have about 7 mouth ulcers at the moment and my mouth is all swollen and its difficult for me to talk, let alone eat. I take vitamins and iron tablets. Part of the scene is really, REALLY intense ... and I know how I want to direct it; unfortunately, the university hasn't offered a Stage Combat course in years. The scene doesn't involve dangerous weapons, but it does require some quick maneuvering of the characters involved. They need to know - in particular - how to roll and fall safely ... and it's up to me to show them. Any ideas on REALLY good visual training aids?

My son had it too, it was weird. A round circle bubbly dark purple spot, and he also had a ton of scratches from rubbing against my pelvic bones. I felt so bad for him when he was born! It went away completely within 3 days, it's amazing how quickly babies heal! He was a natural birth with no istance from forceps or vaccuum, I just have a small pelvis. It didn't mean any special precautions for us though, just went as normal after birth.

A question about my young horse, bad habits??

So my 5 year old mare has recently been developing some bad habits. She is fairly green, and I have been really trying to keep everything consistent in regards to working with her. However, in spite of all my efforts, she seems to be completely ignoring me. She doesnt really respect me, although I am an ertive rider and handler and I don't let her get away with things. She can be pushy, and althouhg I can handle her it gets really tiresome to have to be constantly schooling. =/ I do a lot of groundwork, and as its been REALLY rainy where i live lately that's about all ive been able to do. She is farily good on the ground and longes pretty well. She works wonderfully at liberty and is stuck to me like glue =) She know voice commands (whoa, back, over, etc). However, all of this seems to come and go. Sometimes she listens, sometimes she doesnt. Its supremely frustrating. And that leads me to my biggest problem........every time I go to saddle her up, she bites. Like a lot. and pretty viciously. She's never actually made contact or hurt me at all, and every time she does this I make it clear that it's not okay (circling, backing, a sharp smack on her neck or nose. thats the only time i ever hit her). I'm doing everything in my power to combat this and stop this bad habit from settiling in but NOTHING IS WORKING. She bites when she's upset, or doesnt want to do something and I'm afraid that it will get really dangerous. I'm trying to rule out saddle pain but it's fairly difficult to discern between pain and her not wanting to be worked or ridden. Sometimes when i groundschool and she decides she;s done, she satrts to bite and get really nasty abouut it. Everything seems to be going downhill, even though Im doing trying my very best not to let it. I'm really stumped with this one. I am expereinced with horses but I'm feeling like I need some extra advice with this one. I know that in this situation a lot of people would consider sending their horse to a trainer, but I would really hate to do that. Even so, any information on that option is appreciated. So if you have any ideas or suggestion please answer!!!

How can I teach my horse flying lead changes?

I have a Morgan horse named Timmy, and he's 17. I want to start doing "beginners english/western riding" with him this year, but the pattern for it requires lead changes. I've practiced the pattern doing simple lead changes, weaving through cones. However, my horse requires a little more time to perform his simple lead changes, so I can never weave through the cones right. I usually mess it all up. My 4-H leader and I have worked with him on them, but everytime we finally get him to change leads, he sometimes speeds up way too much and he always leaves his back legs unchanged. I'd like to get him to keep a constant speed, and switch his back legs. Any help here?

Help with depression!!?

i feel that i am severely depressed. i feel alone, i wanna be alone, i'm miserable and crying...can't concentrate, tension headaches, nausea, don't even feel like opening my mouth to speak..it's too much effort...been this way for a while now...tried to be positive and all the other times i've come out of the depression, but now i'm feeling helpless, hopeless, like there's no future for me anymore...i'm fighting crazy thoughts and can't pull myself away from them...i want there to be another answer...but i feel like i'm giving up hope...i'm so tired of fighting...i don't want to be on medicine for the rest of my life...this isn't supposed to happen to bubbly little amy...if my parents knew my thoughts they would be so disappointed in me for not fighting harder...can someone tell me how to make myself feel normal again? i don't want to tell a therapist how i feel for fear that she would commit me against my will and then i would be the laugh for my family and coworkers because i couldn't "handle" life. i feel trapped in every way imaginable

Achilles tendon rupture?

I think I may have an achilles tendon rupture. Last week at gymnastics I was doing a front flip and landed weird and twisted my foot. I went to the doctor the next day and got x-rays and nothing was broken. The doctor called it a sprain but my heel, achilles tendon, and the area around it hurts really bad and I cant walk on it without it hurting. The pain is like something is stabbing me in the leg. I don't want to waste my time if I don't have anything wrong with me but it hurts and I can't do gymnastics with it hurting like this. I got a brace to help me walk better but it still hurts really bad. HELP I need to do gymnastics!!!!!

Dude don't listen to that guy. Be honest with the recruiter. Lying most of the time comes back to bite you in the ***. If you just level with the recruiter and explain to them the situation and tell them what you had to deal with, and how it made you a stronger person I garuntee you that they will be totally impressed and think you are a stand up guy. If any issues come up I'm sure they will vouch for you to their command. Especially if your IQ is that high and you are educated. The marines don't care about that stuff because they send you off to war on the front lines, they don't want to risk someone freaking out and not being able to handle battle. The Navy is much different being that you aren't in combat, unless you are a SEAL. Submarine, ship you could but isn't likely to see combat. Also, if happen to lie, and get away with it, and down the road you do a job that requires a top security clearance, the WILL find out and you will be dropped from the Navy and possibly charged with crime. Just do well on ASVAB, and be honest with them. You'll be fine. Goodluck man!

I've seen many questions regarding divorce as well as child support/custody/visitation. I'm wondering if these people actually READ the papers before they sign them since the questions they ask have to deal with what the court orders actually say...questions about custodial parent moving, questions about age of child when child support ends...Why don't these people READ these before they sign them, they are legal and binding contracts. Unfortunately, your Eevee can't learn Giga Impact...only fully evolved pokemon can learn it. If you evolve your Eevee into say Vaporeon or glaceon or Flareon or Umbreon, etc, then they can learn Giga Impact.
