Unusual bleedng after baby? help!?

My baba will be 8 weeks old tomoro, I bled for 2 weeks then had 4 clear weeks when it stopped, I got my 1st period when he was exactly 6 weeks old ( 2 weeks ago tomoro) and it lasted exactly a week, bit longer and heavier than usual but I expected it might be different) then yesterday (5 days after my period ended) I started to bleed again it as darker in colour but overnight and now today I am still bleeding, it is fresh blood now and a medium flow, completely unexpeted, does anyone know why this might be? it couldnt be my period again could it? I don't know if its anything sinister i don't usually get period pains but i have got a few cramps but I don't want to go the doctors for them to tell me its just my period again, do you think I should go the doctors? I am getting a bit woried now! xx
