Anyone know how do dampen shutter noise?

I'm shooting wildlife, and though I could be more selective with my shots, I enjoy shooting in burst. The problem is, even with single shots I've got a few does that are busting me from fifty to sixty yards. Is there any way to make the shutter snap less audible?
