Paying benefits to children who don't even live here?

Has G.B. gone absolutely stark staring bonkers!Govt estimate 50,000 (so you can estimate it's a lot more)mainly Polish children get benefits sent to Poland (courtesy of the British taxpayer)because their parent/s are over here.What other country in the world would do this,then people wander why we get a lot of immigrants.They must be laughing all the way to the bank!!
