If you give a child science, they can do great good but if you give a child religion, they can only do harm?

All religion is harm. People can do good in the name of their religion, but these people would do good with or without their religion. When you consider all the negatives ociated with religion like, divisiveness, bogus information, prejudice, willful ignorance to maintain a delusion etc, all these negatives severely outweigh any slight good that comes directly from religion, right?
