Why is it that a lot of american hip hop producers are now making reggaeton beats also?

Reggaet�n is a sub-genre of Hip Hop music in my opinion. It's recited, rather than sung; and it rhymes, as well. And just look at the way American rappers and Reggaet�n artists dress.
