last month I was anticipating my preiod because some things were not right with my body. Then my period came on, and everything was fine. But then the wierd food cravings and itchy that i has ociated with my impending period did not go away. Then today, i was very hungry all day, but there is nothing that i even feel like eating expcept for pudding, and i went for a short car ride, and i got REALLY BAD motion sickness, but no throwing up. Am I jsut worried, or do you guys think I should get a test? I was not on Birth control last month, but I started this month, so i am 7 days in. Should I stop taking the birth control? Or should my husband and I not worry about anything?

Moe's has refrigeration issues in all their stores because they don't use freezers but buy frozen products. Call your local health department and have them stop by the store you got sick at. Chances are they'll find a few if not a bunch of code violations in relation to food storage and tempeture issues. This isn't the first time Moe's has gotten someone sick.

Grandma is becoming depressed because she is still waiting for her hearing aids (4months)?

In february I took my 78 yr old grandmother to the ENT because she was having difficulty hearing. After exam and cleaning her ears it out was deemed that she needs hearing aides. FIne. Her insurance was poor. It covered 250.00 for both hearing aids. which left and outstanding amount of $1037.00. Grandma was really reluctant to spend that kid of money because she didn't have it. (these were the cheapest) so we opted for 1 hearing aid. and she pay 400.00 out of pocket. We started the process, Every other week we were canceled (appt) because the authorization had not come through yet. I started getting upset because she was/is becoming more and more depressed. I started calling the hearing aid company (EPIC) they told me they didn't know what was taking so long...with the reply I will call you back. this was early feb. i am still waiting!! So the audiologist started feeling bad for grandma and in april signed grandma up for CHAP (community hearing aid Program). If qualified she can receive 2 hearing aids for 150.00. We went that route, sent a cashiers check with application as directed.The beginning of May we received a letter of acceptance. And it stated that her check has been cashed and thank you for the NON REFUNDABLE donation. Make apt with ENT to have moldings done. We were a step ahead already so the ENT sent everything away. We were told the end of may everything was a go. then was told wow we don't have any openings until june 21. SERIOUSLY your going to make her wait that long? They found an opening at their other clinic on June 10 (yesterday) at 11:00 am. This clinic is 20 miles away, but if it meant for her to get her hearing aids. i was taking her. At 10:15 yester I received a call stating that the appt was canceled again because THEY STILL WERENT IN! this is old. I want retribution or something for her. She cant get her money back because they said it was a charitable donation. What do we do?

Seeking a career change - go back to school for several years to work part time?

I have been in health care since I was 18. I am now 26 and recently married. I live in an area that it is very difficult to get into an RN program so my best option 5 yrs ago was to enroll into an LPN program to byp a long waiting list. After a rough 9 months of an intense, well respected program, I decided to take some time off from school.. and have never been back. Since then, I am not happy being a nurse and struggle with the ethical decisions I have to make every day. I love health care and the people I care for. I would love to do something in the radiology field which would take me about 3 yrs. However, all programs in my area have 3-5 yr waiting lists. After I have children (which I'd like to start doing in a year!), my goal is to work part time. AT this point, is it reccommended that I go back to further my education for a part time job? I'm tired of job hopping trying to find the "perfect" job. Sorry this is so long, I really feel stuck at the moment

Sounds like you could have a case of food poisoning but more likely the stomach flu. It has to run its course. You can get gator ade to help so that you don't become dehydrated.There is Imodium AD that you can get for the diarrhea. Sorry your sick, I know it sucks but you will feel better soon. AND Stay away from McDonald's even if this wasn't the cause...its very bad for you. I Hope you feel better soon.

That's tough. You obviously want to work. And if you know for a fact that your children will be well taken care of, I don't see why you shouldn't go for it. But you also must realize that with children it won't be easy. If you are prepared mentally and physically to take it on, go for it. If you have support from family and they will help you. But everyone needs to find something they like to do for work, b/c if you don't like it now chances are in 5-10 years you still won't like it. And it is better to get an education now. Hope everything works out!
